Storage Means
|
During response operations, the storage system for pollutant recovered at sea or onboard a damaged vessel must ensure that the waste is transported to a port.
Depending on the skimmer or pumping equipment, waste may be stored in the tanks of an oil spill response vessel, in floating tanks towed by an OSRV or a tug, in rigid tanks placed on the decks of an OSRV or in a storage barge or other vessel with storage capacities.
